Eye Make-Up Tutorial : All Purple Everything

Hi guys :)

I hope you're all well! I wanted to do a quick tutorial for you while I was doing my make up this morning and I didn't have time to film a video. As you can probably tell by the title, it's going to be a purple look! Let me know what colours and techniques you would like to see in the future anddd I hope you enjoy this look :)


Step One -

• Apply your eye base/ primer.
• Using a matte medium purple and a fluffy brush, go in windscreen wiper motions in the crease and onto browbone. This will create a transition for darker colours later in the look.
• Apply a shimmery light pink/ purple to the inner corner.

Step Two -

• Apply a shimmery purple all over the lid.
• Blend the lid colour into the crease with the same fluffy brush you used earlier.

Step Three - 

• Apply the same shimmery colour you used on the lid under the eye with a pencil brush.

Step Four -

• Clean up the edge using concealer or a cotton bud and make-up remover.

Step Five -

• Apply whatever eyeliner you like! I went with a black pencil in the waterline and tightline and a thick liquid line. I ALWAYS do a wing on my eyeliner but I decided to leave it out so the focus is on the sharp edge!

Step Six - 

• Apply mascara to the top and bottom eyelashes. You can leave it at this point now or you can go a tiny bit further and add some false lashes :)

Step Seven -

• I used the Katy Perry lashes that have the purple hairs woven in!

Swatch My Stash : My MAC Lipgloss Collection

Hi guys :) 

I thought I'd do another addition in my "Swatch my Stash" series. If you would like to see any particular brands or products in this series then let me know in the comments! I decided to go with my MAC lipgloss collection today.. I hope you enjoy it :)

From left to right there is :

• Pink Lemonade (Lipglass)

• Soft Serenade (Lipglass - From the Temperate Rising Collection)
• Nymphette (Lipglass)
• Cultured (Lipglass)

And again from left to right is :

• Flusterose (Lustreglass)
• Pinkarat (Lustreglass)
• Morning Glory (Lustreglass)
• C-Thru (Lipglass)

I really like the formula of all the MAC lipglosses. I don't find them sticky or hard to apply! My favourite are definitely the Lustreglass, just because it has a brush instead of a sponge applicator. I really want to try some of the Cremesheen glosses in the future.. They just look so creamy :) What shades would you recommend? Thank you so much for reading!

Boots Haul + New Video

Hello there :)

So I was thinking of what I could film next and I really wanted to do a haul.. So of course that meant that I had to go shopping!! I haven't bought much makeup recently and I wanted to see what was new so I decided on Boots :) Also, everything I bought was on 3 for 2.. So I justified it :D 

Obviously, my first move was straight to the makeup stands! There was 3 for 2 across all makeup and beauty accessories so I took advantage and bought some of the new products that I came across :) 

Next I decided to check out the hair care products! I'm not usually someone that buys hair products but my hair has been in really bad condition for ages so hopefully I can do something to help it without spending loads :)

Swatch My Stash : Highlighters

Hi guys :)

I was reorganising my collection yesterday and I got the idea to do like a swatching series of different products I have! I thought I'd start with highlighters.. So here we go :)

I have three MAC products that I use to highlight my face :
- RiRi Hearts MAC Cream Colour Base (Diamonds)
- Cream Colour Base (Pearl)
- Pigment (Vanilla)

L-R : Pearl, Diamonds, Vanilla

The other three products are all from different brands :
- Benefit Watt's Up
- No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter
- ELF Baked Blush (Pinktastic)

As you can probably tell, I definitely prefer gold and pearl tones! My most used is probably my Watt's Up.. It's very gold so you only need a teeny bit :) I hope you enjoyed this quick post.. Thank you so much for reading!
