What's in my MAC Eyeshadow Palette?

Hello there :)


I thought it would be fun to show you my new(ish) MAC palette! I used to co-ordinate my singles in colour groups but I hardly ever reach for them cause I usually have to dig out other eyeshadows to go along with them.. So I thought I'd make one go-to palette that has all of my favourite warm toned shades :) 

I purchased all of my MAC eyeshadows in pan form and custom made this palette!

I definitely chose a lot of warm colours for this palette! I made it a mixture between mattes and shimmers :) I also use Soft Brown, Saddle and Brown Script all the time. They would definitely be in this palette but I have them in pot form so I keep them on my vanity!

TOP ROW (L-R):

Mythology, Woodwinked, Amber Lights, Antiqued, Rule

NEW PRODUCT ALERT!!! Seventeen Contour Kit

Hi guys :)

I just wanted to tell you about this contour kit that I found today in Boots! I can't remember exactly how much it was but it's on an introductory offer at the moment where it's around €6.50.. Even though the full price wasn't much more (just under €8 I believe). 

I got mine in the shade Fair

The powders are so buttery and blendable, I was so impressed when I first swatched it! The kit comes in two shades - Fair and Medium. I'm especially excited about the light shade.. I've been looking for a matte powder to set my under eye concealer and I think this one is going to be perfect!

Dark Lips For Winter (MAC) + Dupes

Hi guys :)

I decided to share with you my fave vampy lipsticks from MAC! These are all in the permanent line so they should be fairly easy to get hold of :) There are so many dupes for these colours so I thought I would share them with you too! If you know any other MAC dupes please let me know :)

Diva - Revlon "Raisin Rage"

Rebel - Wet'n'Wild "Sugar Plum Fairy"

Pink Nouveau - Revlon "Stormy Pink"

Viva Glam 1 - NYX Matte Lipstick "Alabama"

Plumful - Revlon "Sassy Mauve"

Dare You - Nothing that I've found has the same finish but Maybelline "Timeless Mauve" 24hr Lipstick is close in colour

Hot Tahiti - Essence 04 "On the Runway"

*These are not all exactly the same.. Just colours that I have found to be similar and definitely cheaper for the same quality! If you have better dupes please feel free to comment below :)

VMA's Red Carpet 2014 : Hits & Misses

Hi guys :) 

This is a bit of a different one from me but I thought it would be fun to do a few fashion posts every now and again! I hope you enjoy! 

The Kardashian / Jenners - 

I love Kim's look so much! Showing a bit of cleavage but it's not a formal event :) Love the colours and pattern plus the shoes go perfectly! Definitely a hit for me - her make up and hair is gorge too :)

I don't love this look from Kylie! She definitely looks very glam but there's a bit too much material :) Love her hair and make up though! Hit :)

Kendall looks fab! I love the high waisted look :) The black mesh makes it a lot more wearable and as usual her hair and make up are on point! Hit!

Ravishing Red's - 

 

Demi is just wow! I'm still in love with her long blonde hair from 2012 but I can't deny her look here. Love the dark lips and low cut dress :) Hit! 

I don't love the hair or the necklace but that dress is ridic! Maybe a bit less leg or chest would have been nicer but she definitely pulls it off :) I'm a bit on the fence about this one so I'll just say 7/10!

Black is Best - 

Miley's hair is a bit too much "bowl cut" for me but the outfit is gorgeous! Love everything about it.. Definitely a hit from me :) 

Beyonce can do no wrong! She looked great and her performance outfit was even more amazing :O Hit :)

I don't like Ariana's look at all I'm afraid! All she needs are a pair of cat ears and she would turn into a fancy-dress catwoman! Her hair and make up are perfect as always and I do love the belt but this has to be a miss :(

Sparkling Silvers - 

Iggy looks fab here! She wears the sleek hair so well and makes it all about the dress. The colour compliments her skintone so well.. This makes my top 3! Hit :)

I will never get over J-Lo.. She is old enough to be my mother but she looks about 25! Her shoes are class. She's just amazing! Hit hit hit :)

Nicki Minaj - 

I'm so happy that Nicki is finally looking a bit more "normal"! Her hair and make up are gorge :) I love her shoes but the dress isn't really for me. I don't love it or hate it so 5/10 for the dress.. 9/10 for everything else!

Katy Perry - 

Starting at the top she is doing so well with the hair and make up.. Then I see this Wonder Woman choker and THEN the double denim dress!! No doubt her figure looks amazing but I really don't like the dress. This is a miss :(

Taylor Swift - 

What is this?! The first thing I see is that awkward front wedgie! Her shoes look like they were the first ones she found until I saw the matching "Q's" on her outfit. I don't even know what to call that piece.. A romper or playsuit has shorts! This looks like a leotard that is too big at the bottom. Even the hair and make up is bad.. Why red lips with plum accessories? Why?! Definitely a miss!!

I think my top three best dressed would be :

2. Demi Lovato or Kendall Jenner

3. Iggy Azalea
